Rig Welder


Candidates will have minimum of 3 years previous experience working in chemical plants and/or refineries. Your responsibilities will be to fully understand welding procedures, welding processes, proper setup and use of welding equipment. Understand and identify CODE work and traveler requirements. Be able to weld qualified processes without supervision.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • TWIC card required
  • RSO required 20 HOURS w/ OSCA
  • Reading and interpreting field packages, piping isometrics, pipe specifications and piping diagrams.
  • Must be able to certify in 3 of the following processes.
  • SMAW 6G
  • GTAW 6G
    • Prefabricate piping in a shop / field location.
    • Proficient at metal arc gouging.
    • Torch cutting, operation of equipment such as pipe cutting/beveling machines and basic rigging knowledge.
    • Knowledge of materials which require the proper pre-heating prior to cutting or welding.
    • Must meet site specific requirements

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
