This company integrates product solutions with specialty contracting services to improve, protect, and enhance the existing infrastructure in partnership with owners, designers and contractors. This company offers a wide range of specialty repair and upgrade products in conjunction with the largest concrete repair contractor in the United States.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Business Development professional to develop new opportunities and strengthen existing relationships in Northern California and select markets across the Western United States. As a Technical Business Development Manager, you will be accountable for educating clients and potential clients, and discovering project opportunities for products and services of the company. The position will focus primarily on concrete upgrades utilizing our suite of products. It will also include the opportunity to develop concrete repair, historic restoration, building envelope and facade repair and waterproofing projects. As a Technical Business Development professional for our company, you will collaborate with our Operations teams to tackle the toughest construction applications and meet the needs of our valued customers.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
Developing, maintaining, and expanding business relationships
Participating in sales meetings, sales calls, seminar facilitation, trade shows, and the development of other sales strategies and initiatives
Proactively managing accounts and expanding the Company's business relationship with them
Meeting or exceeding annual sales goals set forth by management
Creating, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this strategic sales position:
3+ years of professional experience working in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related material supply or contracting organizations
Strong understanding of composites and reinforced concrete design
Previous experience with FRP materials and/or Post - Tensioning systems
Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals/quotas
Experience working in a team-selling environment
Solid understanding of sales process with the ability to explain that process from identification of opportunity through close of sale
Candidates who possess a Bachelors Degree may be given preference
Candidates with customer relationship management (CRM) software may be given preference
Approximately 50% local and overnight travel is associated with this position

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
