The Human Resources Generalist is the front-line contact for HR issues impacting the business unit.
The incumbent provides HR guidance and support for managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities Assists with employee relations for the assigned business unit.
Conducts investigations, provides guidance to managers and employees, and makes recommendations to positively impact employee engagement.
Raises issues or concerns that arise from job sites and takes appropriate action(s) to address timely.
Oversees the leaves and accommodations process, by engaging with employees throughout the process and keeping managers informed of relevant information need to make appropriate decisions.
Ensures employment records are created and maintained according to policy, State and Federal requirements.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Stays abreast of existing and new legislation and advising management on needed actions.
Partners with managers on performance management.
Coaches management on how to best communicate expectations and performance feedback on an ongoing basis.
Reviews disciplinary documentation before it is administered.
Advises managers on employment related matters, including terminations.
Assists the business prepare for the annual and semi-annual performance review cycle.
Assist with succession planning semi-annually and maintains succession planning information for the business unit.
Resolves pre-employment related issues (e.
g.
drug screens and pre-employment testing).
Conduct exit interviews with staff positions.
Partners closely with Safety and Operations on workplace related matters.
Attend site meetings regularly to communicate information that impacts the workforce.
Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3
years' experience in a Human Resources function, with at least one year as a HR Generalist Prior energy or refinery experience preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills required.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Current knowledge of federal and local employment-related legislation required.
Strong computer skills - proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
Travel:
Some day and overnight travel required, up to 20%.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
