Mental Health Counseling Trainee/Internship working in a TK-12th grade setting. Must work a minimum of 2 days per week, clinical supervision hours available. Applicants must be enrolled in an MFT, PsyD, LPCC, or School Psychology graduate training program. Benicia Unified School District (BUSD) is a small K - 12 public school district. Trainees work intimately with other mental health professionals and educators in providing a developmentally diverse population of students psychological services at the primary and secondary tier of intervention (i.e., primary and secondary pre-referral consultation or drop-ins and counseling). Trainees gain direct experience offering an eclectic set of clinical skills which facilitates their own professional growth while simultaneously allowing the district to advance its system-wide mental health initiatives. Trainees are supervised by a CA Licensed Psychologist. In-service training is presented on a wide range of topics targeting a vast array of therapist skills such as progress monitoring, note-taking, and consultation, along with various therapeutic approaches such as CBT and DBT for individuals and groups.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
