We are seeking a person with the following:
Minimum 2 years experience Excellent Customer Service Skills Computer experience with MS Word, MS Excel, POS Cash Register systems Excellent phone skills required.
This position is responsible for answering calls, booking grooming appointments, etc.
Experience creating retail displays, restocking products, identifying items for reorder Assist in keeping the store and grooming area clean and presentable.
Self Starter - able to work with minimal supervision Knowledge of dog and cat breeds Experience working in a pet service business Ability to perform basic grooming services, such as nail trims for dogs and cats a plus, but not required Knowledge of pets and pet supplies Knowledge of pet care - including pet nutrition, pet products, etc.
Job hours are Tues-Friday 12:
00 pm- 5:
30 pm and 8:
30 am - 4:
30 pm on Saturday Applicant will be expected to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be comfortable handling animals and being around dogs and cats.
Compensation will depend on experience.
Wage range- $18-22 per hour to start.
